The Greenhouse PM application groups all of the individuals and businesses that you keep track of into the Contacts Module. In this module, you'll find Overviews for Vendors, Tenants, and Individuals.
A Tenant is any single person that you've identified as being associated with a previous, current, or upcoming lease. From the Tenant Profile, you will be able to record basic Complaints that have been received (ex. "Tenant is having very loud parties"), manage the Tenant's Security Deposit, view the Tenant's entire Lease history, and see any transactions associated with that Tenant (such as Rent received).
A Vendor is any business (or person for that matter) that has provided some service to you, such as a painter, electrician, plumber, etc. The Vendor Profile will show you all basic contact information and allow you to record notes pertaining to that Vendor (ex. "Dave does good work...request him"). You will also see a list of any Individuals related to the Vendor.
An Individual is basically any other person that you would like to record information about and track within Greenhouse PM. Individuals can either be stand-alone records, or they can be associated with a Vendor.
